Henningsen joins AIB board
AIB International was founded by the North American wholesale and retail baking industries in 1919 as a technology transfer center for bakers and food processors. Although AIB's history has been traditionally linked with North American wholesale and retail baking, the Institute currently serves many segments of the food processing, distribution, foodservice, and retail industries worldwide. Today's AIB provides audit services, food safety education, school of baking education, research and technical services.
Said Henningsen, "We use various internal and external auditors to confirm our company is providing clean, safe, high-quality facilities. I was pleased to be selected for the board of directors, as AIB is an important partner in the food manufacturing industry. It will be an honor to serve with the other members of the board. They are all innovative leaders."
Founded in 1923, Henningsen is a full service, multi-temperature logistics company based in Hillsboro. With operations in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, North Dakota, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania, the company provides more than 42 million cubic feet of frozen and refrigerated warehousing space and services.
