Cedar’s Mediterranean Foods, Inc., Ward Hill, Mass., said it hiredBruce J. Rubin, as vice president. Officials said Rubin, a 30-year-plus food industry veteran, most recently was president of Tribe Hunnus, Taunton, Mass.

While at Tribe Hummus for nearly 25 years, Rubin held several positions as vice president of sales, general manager, and president, said Cedar's officials. They noted that Rubin "was a driving force" behind Tribe’s national growth and oversaw the company’s sale to Osem Investments, a Nestle subsidiary

Cedar’s Mediterranean Foods processes and distributes Mediterranean cuisine such as hummus, pita chips, fresh salads and tzatziki.
