line to include low-fat Greek frozen yogurt.
Dairy Enterprises, Inc., Orrville, Ohio, expanded its Ruggles line to include low-fat Greek frozen yogurt, available in single-serve 4-ounce containers for a suggested retail price of $1.49 or pints for $4.99 suggested retail price.
"Greek yogurt has been one of the most exciting trends in the dairy case," says Penny Baker, director of marketing. "Our new product is sure to appeal to families who are more health-conscious and have driven the steady gains in the traditional yogurt market. Greek frozen yogurt is a really exciting 'better-for-you' frozen dairy dessert option that is already gaining popularity in part due to the self-serve frozen yogurt shop craze."
The Ruggles line consists of Original Tart, Vanilla Bean, Peach, Honey, Blueberry and Strawberry flavors. Plus, each single-serve cup includes a spoon for customer convenience.
