Urschel Plans to Build New Manufacturing Site
Urschel Laboratories, Inc. announced plans to construct a new 350,000-plus-square-foot, 160-acre, state-of-the-art facility in Chesterton, Ind. Urschel has been at its present headquarters location in Valparaiso, Ind., since 1958, and has expanded the facility over 28 times to equal its current size.
"Our employees and providing the best service to our customers were both kept in mind when deciding on a new location," says Bob Urschel, president and CEO.
Urschel expects to break ground at the new location in the spring of 2013 with completion slated for some time in 2015.
