King and Prince, Brunswick, Ga., now includes nori sheets (seaweed) packaged in its Sushi Bob product kits, allowing a turn-key approach to rolling sushi with all necessary components.
Sushi Bob is a line of sushi kits targeted toward non-commercial and college and university operators. The concept allows operators to prepare fresh sushi utilizing their current labor force while providing higher profits than hiring a sushi chef or purchasing frozen, commissary-sourced sushi.
“We listened to our customers and found some had difficulty sourcing nori, as it’s a unique ingredient. We are pleased to make this product even more user-friendly by including nori in our sushi kits,” says Mike Tigani, director of marketing.
