Microwaveable Stuffed Bread Snacks
Tyson Deli, a division of Tyson Foods, Springdale, Ark., is providing deli operators a way to gain incremental sales in the snack segment with Tyson Deli Market 
Grand Openings snacks.
These hand-held, microwaveable stuffed bread snacks come in three varieties—Ham & Swiss Snacks (a blend of ham and Swiss cheese wrapped in a sourdough roll and topped with mozzarella cheese), Chipotle BBQ (tender pulled barbecued chicken with a sweet and spicy chipotle sauce and cheddar cheese wrapped in a masa dough) and Italian Style Meatball & Mozzarella (beef meatballs blended with zesty Italian seasonings and creamy mozzarella wrapped in an herbed dough).
“Tyson Deli Market Grand Openings snacks provide deli retailers a way to stay on trend with the growing snack category, and offer the options and convenience that on-the-go customers are demanding,” says Lisa Welton, product manager. “The snacks are designed for the deli cold cases and are convenient and easy to prepare while delivering quality, freshness and taste.”
They’re available in small case packs to reduce shrink. The product sits on a dual ovenable tray wrapped in tamper-evident film. It arrives frozen, ready to be dated and placed directly into the cold case, where it will hold a 10-day refrigerated shelf life.
