red24assist, a part of red24 plc, New York, released the Gap Analysis Tool (GAT), an online tool that helps food companies determine gaps in their supply chains and highlight areas that have the highest vulnerabilities. The GAT tool also enables food companies to assess compliance to global regulatory requirements.

The GAT tool is intended to serve as a reference document for companies developing food safety programs and/or to evaluate supplier compliance requirements. It is comprised of 110 questions that cover 16 areas of current food industry standards. Once the questionnaire is complete, the tool produces and emails a report that indicates the company’s level of vulnerability in each section.
