Kilmer Van Nostrand Co. Ltd. (KV), Canada, acquired English Bay Batter Inc., a Canada-based processor of refrigerated and frozen dough.
Founded by Jack Seguin three decades ago as a store front bakery in Vancouver, English Bay is now a well-established wholesale bakery serving in-store bakery, grocery, restaurant and foodservice channels across North America.
"Over the course of the past 30 years, English Bay has created an outstanding portfolio of high-quality bakery products ranging from cookies to cookie dough to crescent rolls and biscuits to pizza dough, pie crusts and muffins," says Anthony Sigel, president and managing partner for KVN. "We look forward to working with a superb management team to continue to build English Bay into a much larger North American bakery business."
