DURABLE, NON-CRACKING MUSHROOM TILLS

Fabri-Kal introduced a new set of durable, non-cracking mushroom tills made from a blend of high-density polyethylene and calcium carbonate. The result is a till that holds mushrooms more gently than other rigid containers, ensuring product integrity. These tills offer 25% less plastic than previous mushrooms tills, which equates to a reduced use of petroleum-based virgin materials taken from the earth’s precious resources. The reduction in petroleum-based plastics also results in fewer CO2 emissions. Available in three sizes, these tills are recyclable in communities that accept HDPE containers.

HINGED 3-COMPARTMENT CONTAINERS

Anchor Packaging added a new 3-compartment container to its Gourmet Classics line of hinged RPET containers. Perfect for pre-packaged salads with the protein and toppings in their own sections, this new package keeps the food looking fresh and appealing while segregating flavors until ready to eat. The new 9-inch, 3-compartment comes with a clear RPET lid featuring unique cold temperature, anti-fog technology, which maintains maximum visibility while on display. The leak-resistant lid also eliminates messy spills and boasts an audible quick-snap closure. The consumer-friendly, tear-away lid is easily removed for eating on the go. The lid fits neatly out of the way under the black base, interlocking in place for optional use later. Packages are made with a minimum of 10% FDA-approved post-consumer RPET and remain eligible for recycling after use.
