Bakkavor, a UK-based prepared foods manufacturer, acquired B. Robert’s Foods, a private label prepared foods manufacturer based in Charlotte, N.C.

The acquisition is in line with Bakkavor’s strategy to build a growing presence in the fresh prepared food sector in the United States. B. Robert’s, which employs approximately 240 people, has been producing high-quality, market-leading, innovative convenience foods for U.S. retailers for more than 20 years.
