Rastelli Foods Group Acquires Botto’s Italian Sausage Brand

Rastelli’s roast program offers seasoned and unseasoned packaged roasts ranging in size from 2.5 to 4 pounds. Each product line has been subject to an optimal 28-day aging and natural tenderizing process with extensive quality assurance protocols.
Rastelli’s Food Group, a leading world-class provider of meat and food products since 1976, announced the purchase of select assets from C.W. Brown, LLC.
Rastelli’s has acquired the Botto’s Genuine Italian Sausage brand and use of C.W. Brown’s Mt. Royal, New Jersey manufacturing facility, allowing for Rastelli’s to expand their current portfolio of fresh sausage, fully cooked and value-added products.
Known for quality foods including fresh sausage, meatballs and case ready meats, the Botto’s Genuine Sausage portfolio is a welcome addition to Rastelli’s house of branded retail products.
“With C.W. Brown’s 138-year history of providing authentic, quality products, the opportunity to expand our current retail meat offering and continue the tradition of the Botto’s brand is truly something to celebrate,” said Ray Rastelli Jr., president, Rastelli Foods Group.
Beginning as a local meat shop and growing into a global food service provider, Rastelli’s Food Group includes a family of companies focused on quality, health and safety while serving every corner of the food industry, from food service and retail providers to exporters and e-commerce shoppers.
