The divestitures encompass the U.S. and Canada operations of several yogurt brands including Yoplait, Liberté, Go-Gurt, Oui, Mountain High, and :ratio, as well as manufacturing facilities in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Reed City, Michigan, and Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec.
The combined company will be able to take advantage of bi-coastal production facilities, improve its delivery capabilities, expand product offerings, and leverage its additional scale.
The primary focus of the site is providing export services to local poultry producers but is well-suited to support a broad range of temperature-controlled distribution services.
