Zatarain’s Andouille and Cajun Style Smoked Sausage is expanding its national retail availability to more than 2,000 grocery stores owned by The Kroger Co. The rollout will continue through August at stores across the country including Kroger, Ralphs, King Soopers, Fred Meyer Stores and more.
Plant-based food sales were already growing before COVID-19, and the category has long enjoyed a healthy halo around its products as beneficial to both consumers and the environment. Local shoppers will be able to purchase Belcampo’s sausages, hot dogs, ground beef, and ground pork in all eight stores in the Pacific Northwest by the end of July.
La Fernandière will remain an autonomous entity, continue producing and marketing La Fernandière brand sausages and retain its own sales force and representatives, as well as separate brand management.

Olymel L.P., Canada, announced plans to acquire all assets of La Fernandière, a Canada-based sausage manufacturer sold under the La Fernandière brand.
