Grupo LALA, S.A.B. de C.V., a Mexican dairy company focused on healthy and nutritious foods, entered into an agreement to acquire Laguna Dairy’s U.S. branded business for $246 million. This transaction will provide a local platform to expand the presence of LALA´s authentic Mexican product line in the U.S. Hispanic segment.

The branded portfolio includes mainstream drinkable yogurt under theLALA and Frusion brands and specialty milks under Promised Land and Skim Plus brands. The acquisition also includes three production plants and five additionl brands.
