AdvancePierre Foods, Cincinnati, introduced a new, fresh-appeal package for its Pierre Jumbo Chipotle Bacon Cheeseburger.
The packaging consists of a clear, flexible film—featuring easy-to-read labels and a front-of-pack calorie call-out—that is securely hand-wrapped and sealed with a tamper-evident label. The packaging also features the Pierre logo and retains the key visual elements of the original printed film, helping consumers make an easy transition to the new package.
“We are making an investment in fresh-appeal packaging,” says Tony Schroder, president of convenience channels. “Consumers get a clear view with no compromise to product integrity.”
The Pierre Jumbo Chipotle Bacon Cheeseburger is designed to be sold from a refrigerated cold case or vending machine. It boasts a 14-day refrigerated shelf life and comes 12 to a case.
