Cree, Inc., Durham, N.C., introduce the new Cree HXB Series LED high-bay luminaire, what is said to be the first of its kind to operate in extreme ambient temperatures spanning -40°F to 149°F and delivering 70,000 lumens at up to 140 lumens per watt. This luminaire can be mounted at heights of 30 feet and higher, and comes with optical options such as flood and aisle distributions for cold storage spaces with sub-zero temperatures and high-heat climates.

The series is available with 35,000 and 70,000 lumen output options of exceptional illumination performance, and boasts simple installation with a universal mounting system, all wrapped in an attractive and unique 2-piece impact-resistant polycarbonate glare shield available in translucent or opaque with an optional uplight feature.
