Lidl US to establish regional HQs, distribution center
The $100 million facility will create 100 new jobs in the state and open no later than 2018.
Lidl, Arlington, Va., announced plans to establish a regional headquarters and distribution center in Elkton, Md. The $100 million facility will create 100 new jobs in the state and open no later than 2018.

We selected Cecil County not only because it offers a central location for our distribution network, but also because it will be a great place for our employees to work and live. Lidl operates about 10,000 stores in 27 countries throughout Europe, offering customers high-quality fresh produce, meat, bakery items and a wide array of household products at low prices.
