Arizona Instrument released the Computrac Vapor Pro XL moisture analyzer, a chemical-free, moisture-specific alternative to Karl Fischer titration. The upgraded heater increases the upper limit for testing temperatures to 300°C and allows for improved control over testing temperatures. The VPXL is also compatible with multiple sizes of sample vials, and is equipped with stepped temperature testing capabilities for enhanced method development.

LIQUID PUMP SOLUTION FOR VOLUMETRIC FILLERS

MULTI-FILL offers a liquid pump option to expand the range of products that can be handled by multi-purpose volumetric fillers. By adding a liquid pump, food processors can retain liquids normally lost in the process of filling products like pico de gallo, prepared salads and fermented vegetables. When product is loaded into the hopper, excess liquid drains off and is collected in a reservoir, then reintroduced during the dosing stage. If a drier product is desired, the liquid can be retained in the reservoir and discarded during cleaning. The stainless-steel liquid pump can be completely dismantled, without tools, for thorough cleaning and sanitation.

FLEX VISION INSPECTION SYSTEM

Mettler Toledo CI-Vision’s V2630 Flex Vision Inspection System is an easy-to-install, easy-to-move and easy-to-use vision inspection system for label, print and package inspection applications on flat, oriented products. The V2630 is designed to be expandable, allowing manufacturers to add cameras to the system as their inspection needs change. It can support up to five cameras and 10 lights, and features the company’s Rapid Fit frame system, which creates efficient frame and mounting brackets for the cameras and lights. SELF-PROPELLED TRANSPORTER FOR IN-PLANT USE

Enerpac introduced the SPMT600 Series self-propelled modular transporter (SPMT), a 3-axel-per-trailer modular system featuring a minimized height, slim design and remote wireless control operation capabilities. The trailers and HPUs can be configured to a maximum of four trailers in two rows (4x2) or six trailers in two rows (6x2), and can support up to 60 tons of load. Wheel propulsion is established by hydraulic drive motors; all wheels boast individual drive motors as well as a steering and lifting cylinder. SANITARY VENT

Cashco introduced a new Model 1100 sanitary vent, ideally suited for the production of processed foods. This stainless-steel sanitary vent is designed to operate at multiple set points as a breather valve to avoid vacuum or over pressurization inside a tank or piping system.
