Frozen bone broths
Bonafide Provisions, San Diego, Calif., expanded its healing broth portfolio with the debut of two new varieties—Free Range Turkey and Frontier Blend—as well as new individual serving-size 6-packs of its Free Range Chicken and Grass Fed Beef bone broth varieties.
“When we started packaging our frozen broths just a few years ago, we had a vision to create a shift in collective understanding about what bone broth truly is and its powerful healing properties – little could we have predicted the overwhelming response we’ve received from shoppers,” says Sharon Brown, founder. “Our new Turkey and Frontier Blend flavors are yet another way we can help share the restorative benefits of traditional bone broth with the masses, and we’re eager to launch them just in time for the holidays and cold and flu season. Both flavors deliver all of the benefits of our original bone broths, just like grandma used to make at home. Whether you’re looking for something to grab-and-go in the morning, something simple and traditional or for a rich broth medley inspired by the American frontier, our new lineup has something for everyone.”
New Free Range Turkey and Frontier Blend bone broths are handcrafted in small batches using the time-honored, traditional process for making bone broth by slow simmering for 24-48 hours to maximize nutrient content through producing gelatin from collagen-rich joints and extracting minerals from the bones into the broth. They are then frozen immediately after preparation to maintain nutritional integrity. Best enjoyed when sipped warm, the broths offer amino acids, gelatin and easily digestible minerals to support health and vitality.
The Free Range Turkey kind uses free-range turkey bones that are slowly simmered per the authentic tradition, and will be available in frozen 24-ounce pouches for a suggested retail price of $9.99.
The Frontier Blend is made from a combination of bison, lamb and turkey bones, and comes in frozen 24-ounce pouches for a suggested retail price of $11.99.
