Organic hard-boiled eggs
Pete and Gerry's Organics, LLC, Monroe, N.H., introduced organic hard-boiled eggs.
Dubbed the first certified humane organic hard-boiled egg on the market, this new format offers a high-protein snack or meal base with just 60 calories per serving in an easy, portable pouch.
"Eggs are one of nature's most perfect foods, so it's wonderful to be able to respond to consumers seeking out new ways to enjoy them. We'll continue raising the bar, not just in new product innovation, but also in humane standards, both for our hens and farmers as we lead the industry in 2017," says Jesse Laflamme, chief executive farmer.
The organic hard-boiled eggs come in a 6-pack, available in supermarkets nationwide for a suggested retail price of $5.
