Zest Labs derived a single freshness metric—the ZIPR code—which is based on the specific product type and outlines the growing location and actual harvest and processing conditions to enable improved freshness management decisions. The ZIPR code uses patented methodology and sensors, ensuring inventory and shipping decisions are based on actual freshness.

COLOR-CODED DUSTPAN, BROOM SET

Remco Products introduced lobby dustpan and broom sets made of FDA-approved materials. The handles are made of sturdy aluminum, and the dustpan itself is made of polypropylene. Smooth angles and a lack of crevices make the hygienically designed dustpan easy to keep clean, and the handles detach for easy cleaning. The dustpan smoothly swings open and closed on two hinges that lock into the open position to make sweeping into and emptying the pan easier. The large, 7x14-inch bin allows for big and small cleanup jobs while the tall, 37-inch handle prevents back pain that stems from leaning over shorter dustpans. The dustpan is ideally suited for food processing facilities, where hygienically designed, food-safe tools are needed. The lobby dustpan and broom set come in nine different colors to promote HACCP color-coding plans.

Intelligent algorithms guide lube-techs before, during and after re-greasing, resulting in optimal lubrication parameters on all assets. LUBExpert monitors each stroke of grease and its effect on bearing friction and temperature. Before and after bearing conditions are reported with a “good,” “bad” or “suspect” status report. The LUBExpert package includes the ULTRANALYSIS suite software, which powers the data management aspects.
