Henningsen Cold Storage opens second facility in Salem, OR
The 26,000-pallet facility will serve as an innovative hub of activity for food processors.
Henningsen Cold Storage Co., Hillsboro, Ore., opened the doors to its second facility in Salem, Ore. The 176,000-square-foot facility is located in the Mill Creek Corporate Center, and offers 6 million cubic feet of cold storage capacity.
The 26,000-pallet facility will serve as an innovative hub of activity for food processors.
Incorporated in the first phase of an eventual 4-phase development is over 20,000 square feet of processor-dedicated space with direct access to Henningsen's cold storage warehouse, eliminating the need to shuttle products in and out by truck. Future build-out of the 34-acre site will allow other processors to also co-locate on site.
