IEH Laboratories & Consulting Group (IEH), Lake Forest Park, Wash., acquired all assets related to the Sample6 DETECT platform, Woburn, Mass.

This divestment allows Sample6 to focus exclusively on its groundbreaking CONTROL food safety software.

The Sample6 DETECT test system was developed as a solution to help food processors identify points of Listeria and Salmonella contamination on-site and in-shift. IEH, through its wholly owned subsidiary Phage Diagnostics, are focused on making the DETECT technology available in every corner of the food safety market.

"We're delighted to have found a fantastic partner for the further commercialization of the Bioillumination technology and the DETECT platform in IEH," says Dr. Michael Koeris, Sample6 founder and CEO. "IEH's resources and reach will allow for a more rapid deployment of the groundbreaking in-shift, on-site technology, as well as the successful launch of the high-throughput platform into the central and third-party laboratory market worldwide."

"Sample6 technology allows us to offer, for the first time, Listeria finished product testing in under 15 hours from start to finish to the food industry," says Dr. Mansour Samadpour, principal of IEH.
