Grecian Delight Foods, Elk Grove Village, Ill., launched a new line of Opaa! ReadyCarved Ethnic Meats.

Opaa! ReadyCarved Ethnic Meats are expertly seasoned, hand-stacked, broiled and sliced right from the cone, and then packaged in a resealable, stand-up package that allows for quick reheating of the meat on a stove top or in the oven or microwave.

“This is a new take on a classic, popular menu item, replicating the traditional foodservice method of preparing and serving carved meats. It’s a simple concept, yet it’s the first of its kind in the category that truly combines off-the-cone taste with the anywhere, anytime demand for snacks and meals,” says David Gacom, executive vice president, retail and supply chain.

This ready-to-heat line includes Beef Gyros and Chicken Gyros, and contain no artificial ingredients, preservatives or MSG.

The ReadyCarved line is available in retailers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $6.99, and is sold in a two 5-pound case for hot food bars and bulk sales in delis.
