The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), Alexandria, Va., relocated its office to the Crystal City area of Arlington, Va.

Being closer to Washington, D.C., gives the GCCA staff easier access to its agency partners, Capitol Hill and other association partners.

The new office space also allows for more square footage, and will serve as an advocacy tool to help tell the association and industry’s story. For example, the office uses building materials donated by GCCA members. Jamison Door Co., Hagerstown, Md.; Metl-Span, Lewisville, Texas; and EVAPCO, Inc., Taneytown, Md., donated insulated panels, high-speed roll-up doors, food processing and freezer doors, coils and more to be used throughout the individual offices, conference rooms, reception area and more.
