Preferred Freezer Services (PFS), Chatham, N.J., opened the doors to a new temperature-controlled facility in Kearny, N.J., making it the company’s ninth location in the New Jersey area.

The Kearny facility satisfies demand in the tristate area for modern and efficient cold storage warehousing services.

“We are ecstatic to have begun cold storage operations here in Kearny, N.J. Being our ninth facility here in the state, we look forward to continuing, not only the traditions here at Preferred, but also what is at the very essence and the very core of our company—providing exceptional customer service and creating lasting client-partner relationships,” says Martin Barry, sales manager. “We look forward to continually growing and expanding to service all of our valued clientele.”

Kearny is well positioned to access the George Washington Bridge and Lincoln Tunnel, with easy on and off Turnpike access. The new facility is located where I-95 and Interstate 280 meet, with proximity to exit 15W. The facility covers over 190,000 square feet and offers USDA import and export capability, in addition to a multi-purpose room for additional value-added services.
