Hearthside Foods acquires Greencore USA, enters fresh, refrigerated, frozen channels
This transaction adds frozen breakfast foods, refrigerated snack kits, salad kits and fresh-made sandwiches and entrées to Hearthside’s capabilities.
Hearthside Food Solutions, Downers Grove, Ill., acquired Greencore USA, the Downers Grove, Ill.-based unit of Greencore Group plc, Ireland.
The acquisition includes Greencore USA’s 13 locations and 3,000 employees, and adds frozen breakfast foods, refrigerated snack kits, salad kits and fresh-made sandwiches and entrées to Hearthside’s capabilities.
