Kool Logistics, LLC, Nashville, Tenn., opened a new, full-service office in Los Angeles.

“We work closely with our carrier partners to strategically place them in markets to alleviate shortage,” says Michael Orr, general manager. “With the addition of our Los Angeles office, we will have our pulse on the West Coast market and be able to fine-tune our services there.”

Kool Logistics’ large carrier base includes a vast array of equipment, including FTL, LTL and temperature-controlled trailers specializing in refrigerated fresh produce and other perishable foods.

The new team will be led by Matt Christ, director of business development, who specializes in refrigerated produce transportation, specifically on the West Coast. He is joined by a team of solution providers, including Try Gotham and Carlos Moran, who maintain decades of experience serving the industry.
