Outer Aisle, Goleta, Calif., “goes against the grain” with new grain-free, low-carbohydrate, bread-like alternatives, sold in grocers' refrigerated foods section.

New to the lineup is Jalapeno Plantpower Sandwich Thins and Plantpower Pizza Crust and an Italian variety for the Plantpower Sandwich Thins.

Outer Aisle products are made using just four fresh and simple ingredients—63% fresh cauliflower, whole cage-free eggs, fresh Parmesan cheese and nutritional yeast.

The new Italian kind infuses hints of fresh garlic, basil and oregano that will add a zesty bite to homemade sandwiches or a base for a low-carbohydrate lasagna.

The new Jalapeno SKU is perfect for tacos and for those looking to add a little bit of a spicy kick to their daily vegetable intake.

“We are food forward. We aren't about restricting people's diets. We're about filling all those empty calories with flavor and nutritionally dense delectable food that's worth celebrating,” says Jeanne David founder and CEO.

Outer Aisle also launched new colorful packaging for all products to better detail the latest Plantpower verbiage.

The new Sandwich Thins are available in a 6.75-ounce pack of six sandwich thins for a suggested retail price of $6.99, while the Pizza Crusts are sold in a 5-ounce two pack for a suggested retail price of $6.99.
