G.S. Gelato, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., added nine new varieties to its collection of certified-vegan gelato.
Made with plant-based coconut milk, this new line contains no artificial ingredients, dairy, other animal byproducts or GMOs.
“At G.S. Gelato, we are constantly researching, testing and formulating the best products for our customers,” says Cameron Lewis, research and development manager. “With a rapidly growing vegan population, it was only natural to offer certified flavors that can be easily recognized by the iconic symbol. Our goal was to create a plant-based product without sacrificing the premium quality and taste that all our flavors possess. The result was a smooth and creamy product just like the gelato and sorbet that we have been crafting for over 20 years.”
The certified-vegan flavors include Caramel Sea Salt, Cookie Dough, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Mint Chocolate, White Mint Chocolate, Vanilla, Cold Brew Coffee, Cookies No Cream and Chocolate.
All are available as branded and private label products for the retail/grocery industry. The latter three are available for both retail and foodservice.
