GEA Moving Service Facility from Houston to Pasadena, Texas

GEA Pasadena Texas

GEA's new service facility in Pasadena, Texas.

April 29, 2020

GEA Refrigeration Technologies’ Texas service branch, currently located in Houston, is moving to a new location in Pasadena, Texas. The brand-new facility is centrally located relative to customers and vendors, at 3451 Pasadena Blvd., Pasadena, TX 77503. The move is expected to occur May 4 and be completed by June 1, 2020. All phone numbers and contact information will remain the same.

According to GEA Service Branch Manager, Don Ivester, "The branch relocation is an improvement and a benefit to both the employees of GEA and to our customers and suppliers, as the Pasadena location allows us to be more easily accessible. Additionally, the new compressor rebuild space is fully temperature controlled, allowing our highly skilled rebuild technicians to carefully manage sensitive equipment tolerances as they perform rebuild services for our customers.

"The capabilities of the regional service hubs in York, Pennsylvania, and Texas will be expanded and strengthened to improve schedule planning and delivery, allowing for faster turnaround times and the flexibility to assign work to the most ideal location. This will enable swift turnarounds of rebuilds from our entire product range at either location, meaning that urgent rebuilds can be carried out at the most geographically suitable facility, rather than where particular skillsets or capacities reside."

Once operating in Pasadena, service options will include:
• Field Service (maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting)
• Spare Parts
• Compressor Rebuilds (both GEA manufactured and others)

"Thank you to all our valued customers for the opportunity to be of service," says Ivester. "Please know we at GEA are committed to providing responsive service; high-quality products delivered by professional, experienced personnel. As a business categorized as essential during the current pandemic, our facilities will remain open--as the health of our staff allows--to support you. Our staff takes every precaution for their safety as well as that of our customers."
