The Massman Companies, a leading group of packaging equipment manufacturing companies, is pleased to announce the promotion of Russell Schlager to Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Liquid Filling Systems. Schlager has been active with the Massman Companies’ Ideal-Pak business unit for more than seven years as Director of Sales and Marketing. He also recently served as the Director of Sales for Massman’s PASE Group business unit.
EDL Packaging announces David O’Keefe has been named Director of Sales at its Green Bay, Wisconsin location. Tray-sealing specialist Proseal has launched a tray-positioning system that calculates the required tray spacing set-up parameters for individual tray sealing tool-sets, eliminating the trial-and-error usually associated with this process. The new patent-pending ProPosition feature automatically identifies the best position for trays, to ensure the perfect alignment every time.
Jan Glass succeeded Dr. Juergen Kuske as Chief Financial Officer of the Optima Group on May 1, 2020. As a result, in collaboration with Hans Buehler, the Managing Director, he is taking over the management of the central departments at the company.
IMA Dairy & Food, whose equipment solutions comprise the long-established brands Gasti, Hamba, Hassia and Erca, has introduced two new packaging machines. The first is a fill-seal unit featuring highly flexible, user-friendly operations, the second a four-sided sachet machine incorporating novel single-sided production.
GEA Refrigeration Technologies’ Texas service branch, currently located in Houston, is moving to a new location in Pasadena, Texas. The brand-new facility is centrally located relative to customers and vendors, at 3451 Pasadena Blvd., Pasadena, TX 77503. The move is expected to occur during May and be completed by June 1, 2020.
