FOOD GRADE REFRIGERATION FLUID

Clarion Synthetic Refrigeration Fluid is an excellent choice for refrigeration compressor lubricant where a possibility of contact with food could exist. Clarion Synthetic Refrigeration Fluid is food grade NSF H-1 lubricant approved for incidental food contact, and is a high performance refrigeration compressor lubricant formulated to provide outstanding thermal stability and oxidation resistance. It can be used over a wide range of temperatures, and is recommended for use in many refrigerants, including ammonia, carbon dioxide, Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) such as R-12 and hydro chlorofluorocarbons (HCFC) such as R-22 and mixtures of R-501. Not for use with Hydrofluorocarbons (HFC) such as R-134A. Clarion Synthetic Refrigeration Fluid is designed for use in rotary screw compressors.

CRYOGENIC SOLUTIONS FOR MIXER CHILLING

Mixers/blenders for ground proteins are usually chilled with a cryogen injected from several points at the bottom of the mixer. New bottom-injection (BI) mixer chilling systems with proprietary hygienic injectors improve food safety while delivering consistent temperatures batch-to-batch. Both the design of the cryogenic control system and the injectors are critical to maximizing benefits, and can greatly reduce the time required for maintenance and sanitation.

Messer’s advanced control system ensures cryogen is optimized for each batch providing consistent temperatures across every batch, taking the operator guesswork out of mixer chilling. When used with the proprietary hygienic KRYOJECTOR injector which seals against the bottom of the mixer, the Messer mixer chilling system can reduce mixer cycle times and improve food safety.
