Elmhurst 1925, maker of plant-based beverages, has expanded retail distribution of its Unsweetened Milked Almonds, Unsweetened Milked Oats and Unsweetened Milked Cashews. The three varieties can now be found in 1,855 new select Kroger banners across the U.S. including Ralphs, Roundy’s, King Soopers, Fred Meyer, Smith’s Food and Drug, QFC and Fry’s Food Stores, for a total of 5,732 new points of distribution.

Zatarain’s Andouille and Cajun Style Smoked Sausage is expanding its national retail availability to more than 2,000 grocery stores owned by The Kroger Co. The rollout will continue through August at stores across the country including Kroger, Ralphs, King Soopers, Fred Meyer Stores and more.

Following nearly two dozen positive diagnoses of COVID-19 at a Ralphs in Hollywood and several protests, grocery workers represented by the UFCW Local 770 learned Monday that Kroger, which owns Ralphs and Food 4 Less, has agreed to provide free, voluntary COVID-19 testing to all members at its flagship Hollywood store.
