With the acquisition, Danfoss adds the world's largest portfolio of semi-hermetic compressors for natural refrigerants such as CO2 (R744), hydrocarbons, and other low-GWP refrigerants to its already strong portfolio of oil-free centrifugal compressors, inverter-scroll, reciprocating and screw compressors, and condensing units.

Monogram, Paradigm Partners and Dacon marked the event with a $20,000 grant aimed at fresh food access and nutrition education.

Built between 1990 and 2005, each of the fully-fenced secure buildings in the portfolio feature 30-foot or more clear heights, ample loading with as many as 51 dock doors, and abundant trailer parking.  

FreshEdge, a family of fresh food distribution companies, including four fresh-cut processing operations and a USDA fresh kitchen, was purchased by Chicago-based Wind Point Partners, from Rotunda Capital Partners.   

The $21.5 million project broke ground in October, 2020 and was completed in June 2022.
