The launch of new PENN System 550 C550A web-enabled control modules are designed to streamline the transition from analog to digital temperature, humidity and/or pressure sensing.

Johnson Controls, the global leader for smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, announced the launch of the new PENN System 550, a modular electronic control solution that provides temperature, humidity and/or pressure control. 

M&M Carnot will add to the growing portfolio of Johnson Controls industrial refrigeration equipment operating on ultra-low GWP refrigerant CO₂.

 Meeting the needs of modern industrial refrigeration, these new units update the former FRICK RTF product line.

Johnson Controls released the findings of its annual Energy Efficiency Indicator survey, which found that more than half of organizations plan to increase investment in energy efficiency, renewable energy and smart building technology next year, comparable with investment trends after the 2010 recession.

Johnson Controls announced Nate Manning has been appointed vice president and president, Building Solutions, North America. Manning will oversee all elements of strategy development and execution in Building Solutions, North America, focusing on driving growth by delivering customer outcomes that build on the Company's commercial, services and digital strategy, including the recently launched dynamic digital architecture, OpenBlue.

Johnson Controls announced that Olivier Leonetti would join the Company and succeed Brian Stief as the chief financial officer. Leonetti will join the Company in the next several weeks and initially be appointed as executive vice president and chief financial officer-elect. He will assume the role of executive vice president and chief financial officer, following the filing of the Company's annual report on Form 10-K for fiscal year 2020. Current Vice Chairman and CFO Brian Stief, will step down from the CFO role at that time.  Stief will remain in his role as vice chairman, serving in an advisory capacity, and will retire from the Company at the end of this calendar year. Stief and Leonetti will work closely together over the next several months to ensure an orderly transition into the 2021 calendar year.
