Sold in packs of four for $15.99, the meal joins Afia’s traditional falafel and kibbeh beef croquettes on Costco shelves across the retailer’s San Diego region, which includes stores in Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah.
This additional distribution will further Afia’s position as the go-to convenient, authentic Easter Mediterranean food option in the freezer aisles of grocery stores across the U.S.
Advancements in food automation will help shape the future of the industry, particularly in frozen food, where the technology has the potential to revolutionize processing and manufacturing.
The six-year-old company will scale its core product line and open a new 21,000-square-foot manufacturing facility and headquarters in Taylor, Texas, later this year.
