Whole Foods, Sprouts Launch Afia’s New Mediterranean Stuffing

Crafted with no fillers or preservatives, Afia’s Mediterranean Stuffing features parsley, coriander, cumin, sage, ginger and celery seed, balanced with holiday staples like cranberries, kale, sweet potatoes and onions.
Afia, a refugee-focused Mediterranean food company, announced the national launch of its new Afia Mediterranean Stuffing, available now at Sprouts and Whole Foods with more regional retailers expected to follow.
This new take on a traditional must-have reimagines classic flavors, resulting in a gluten-free stuffing that uses Afia’s signature falafel as the foundation.
The product was born from an employee-driven idea during falafel taste testing. The team noticed how falafel, when mixed with vegetables, offered a texture reminiscent of bread-based stuffing.
Crafted with no fillers or preservatives, Afia’s Mediterranean Stuffing features parsley, coriander, cumin, sage, ginger and celery seed, balanced with holiday staples like cranberries, kale, sweet potatoes and onions. The result is a vibrant, savory side dish that pairs tradition with Afia’s Eastern Mediterranean heritage.
Conveniently located in the frozen food aisle, it offers families a cost-effective option for the season.
“The response has been overwhelming,” said Afia Co-founder Farrah Moussallati Sibai. “Retailers and shoppers alike are embracing frozen foods as a cleaner, more affordable way to enjoy the holidays without compromising on flavor or tradition.”
