Ornua, Ireland’s largest premium dairy cooperative, has announced a major expansion of its Ornua Ingredients North America division with a $10 million investment upgrading its Hilbert, Wisconsin, cheese ingredients operation. Investment will add 30% production capacity to cheese making plant. With this major announcement, Ornua has now invested $23 million total in the Hilbert operation.

The Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA) announced that its farmer-owners have committed $4 million to a comprehensive COVID-19 relief plan to help its employees, the communities where the company operates, and industry partners respond to and recover from burdens created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Here at Tillamook, our hearts go out to those who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The California Artisan Cheese Guild (CACG) recently voted in Felice Thorpe Charlton as their new President. Dedicated to promoting California artisan cheese through partnerships, outreach and education, Felice’s term will be announced at the non-profit trade organization’s annual meeting on February 9th, 2020.
Both companies are expanding operations to include new products and product lines.

Continental Dairy Facilities, LLC and Fairlife LLC, Chicago, announced a collaborative project to add additional on-site wastewater treatment capacity at their 100-acre dairy processing plant in Coopersville, Mich.
