This Kansas City hub is part of a broader network of Import-Export Hubs Americold is developing through strategic partnerships to support global trade lanes.
The site is located adjacent to the CPKC intermodal terminal in south Kansas City and within 30 miles of the BNSF, Union Pacific and Norfolk Southern terminals.
The warehouse facility will be attached to Upfield’s New Century production plant through an above-ground conveyor bridge being constructed by Upfield and allowing its finished product to be delivered directly into the warehouse, with 100,000 square feet available for other customers.

The new 335,000-square-foot facility in Kansas City is part of a strategic collaboration with Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) to co-locate Americold warehouse facilities on the CPKC network.
The 298,000-square-foot state-of-the-art cold storage facility is located within the heavy-haul corridor, in close proximity to the Barbours Cut and Bayport container terminals, and with convenient access to the regional interstate highway system and multiple Class 1 railroads.
Blackline Cold Storage has broken ground at the site of their new 298,000-square-foot cold storage facility to be owned in partnership with Artemis Real Estate Partners at the Port of Houston, Texas. The facility will provide approximately 70 new jobs to the area when the first phase of construction is complete on the 36-acre site in TGS Cedar Port Industrial Park.
