T. Marzetti is expanding its Horse Cave, Kentucky, processing facility by an extra 184,500 square feet after a recent groundbreaking ceremony. The facility manufactures salad dressings, sauces and other foods for retail and foodservice markets. The expansion will provide additional manufacturing space and include new equipment to increase dressing and sauce production, new processing kitchens, and several packaging lines to meet growing customer demand. The expansion is expected to be complete in the summer of 2022 and will create over 200 jobs for the region.

Wind Point Partners, Chicago, and portfolio company Stir Foods, an Orange, Calif.-based custom manufacturer of soups, sauces, dressings and fresh salsas for retail, industrial and foodservice customers, acquired Van Law Food Products, a contract manufacturer and private label manufacturer of custom sauces, dressings and beverage products for consumer packaged goods, retail and foodservice customers.
Golden State Foods, Irvine, Calif., acquired majority ownership of Groenz Group Ltd., a manufacturer of sauces, dressings, condiments and powders for the quick-service restaurant and foodservice industries in New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands.
