McConnell's Launches Line of Dairy-Free Frozen Desserts in 6 Flavors
McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams introduces its latest version of dairy-free frozen desserts in six flavors: Chocolate Fudge & Cookies, Coffee Cookie Crumble, Cookies & Cream, Passion Fruit Lemon Swirl, Salted Caramel Chocolate Swirl, and Vanilla Bean, with more to come. Flavors will gradually roll out across McConnell’s scoop shops on a monthly basis starting with Peanut Butter Chocolate Crunch, Cookies & Cream and Passionfruit Lemon Swirl. The new desserts are also available for purchase through McConnell’s website with delivery nationwide.
Like all the company’s offerings, the new line is made from scratch at McConnell’s Family Dairy, using a proprietary and innovative base of oat milk, cocoa butter, and coconut oil to approximate the indulgent, unique & creamy mouthfeel of McConnell’s ice creams - without the coconut, oat, or nutty aftertaste or smell customers so often find in dairy-free offerings. And like McConnell’s other products, there are no artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners.
“With our new Dairy-Free line we're aiming to deliver a product with the quality you'd expect from McConnell's Ice Cream,” says McConnell’s co-owner and chef Eva Ein. “People who crave great ice cream deserve that deeply indulgent McConnell's experience through flavor and texture, whether it's dairy-based or not."
