Yaya’s Garden Receives Official Non-GMO Verified Seal for All Line Items

January 24, 2022

Yaya’s Garden, the maker of frozen plant-based Mediterranean entrées, has received third-party Non-GMO Project Verification on every item in the brand’s product lineup. Each item in the line is inspired by the recipes of the brand’s Greek matriarch and grandmother, Yaya, offering adventure-seeking shoppers fresh, bold and unique flavor profiles making healthy meals simple and flavorful. Consumers can expect to see the Non-GMO Project Verified seal on all Yaya’s Garden meals circulating in Q1 of 2022.

All-natural, non-GMO ingredients and powerful plant-based protein create the foundation of Yaya’s Garden’s authentic Greek meals. The Non-GMO Project is a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to building and protecting a non-GMO food supply. Non-GMO Project Verified remains the market leader for GMO avoidance and one of the fastest growing labels in the retail sector. The organization offers North America’s most trusted third-party verification for non-GMO food and products.

“While our products have always been 100% Non-GMO within our Greek manufacturing practices, we’re so grateful to have the seal of authentication,” said Collin Tuthill, president of Royal Food. “The Non-GMO Project Verification seal is another natural step towards retaining consumer trust and loyalty in our meals.”

About Yaya’s Garden
In 1910, Yaya turned her backyard garden’s sun-plumped bounty into nourishing homemade meals, using simple family recipes that let the freshness of the ingredients shine through. Over a century later, her grandchildren carry on her legacy and love for traditional Greek flavors with a delicious lineup of nutritious, satisfying entrees made from pristine veggies grown in the Pella, Crete, and Thessaloniki countryside. The brand boasts both plant-based and vegetarian lines, all of which are Non-GMO as well.
