Nominations are now open for Refrigerated & Frozen Foods’ 10^th Annual Best New Retail Products Contest. Due to the popularity of the competition we’ve split the contest into two parts: frozen foods in the spring and refrigerated foods in late summer.

Up to 25 products will be selected as finalists for online voting throughout the month of August. 

How it Works

Nominations can be submitted HERE by food processors and manufacturers as well as suppliers and marketing/PR firms. Products are selected based on uniqueness to the market, packaging enhancements, on-trend flavor profiles and addressing consumer needs. Seasonal, limited-time-only or special-edition products are not applicable.

Eligible refrigerated products need to have been on store shelves from March 2021, to July 2022. Products for sale before March 2021 are not eligible.

Nominations must be received by August 19, 2022. 

Products receiving the top-five votes will be featured in Refrigerated & Frozen Foods’ December magazine alongside a company Q&A, and the product receiving the most votes overall will also be featured in an episode of our From the Cold Corner Podcast.
