ARCO National Construction is partnering with Atlantic Food Distributors, a family-owned and independently operated supplier of high-quality food products, to bring a 156,000-square-foot cold storage facility to Northeast Ohio. Located at 5571 Global Gateway, North Canton, Ohio, the facility is strategically positioned to offer immediate access to Akron-Canton Airport and Interstate 77, enhancing Atlantic Food Distributors' ability to serve restaurants, schools and retailers across Ohio and surrounding regions. 

The project involves the renovation of an existing facility to include a state-of-the-art Freon refrigeration system, nearly 50,000 square feet of cooler and freezer space, a 13,000-square-foot, 40 degree Fahrenheit cold dock, and 19,000 square feet of dry storage. Designed for maximum efficiency, the new facility will enable Atlantic Food Distributors to expand inventory capacity and optimize logistics for a broader range of fresh, frozen, and dry goods.

Additional facility features will include box-in-a-box insulated metal panel construction, 17 dock positions, a 35-foot warehouse clear height, and 25-foot cooler and freezer clear heights.
