Atlantic Food Distributors (AFD), a Canton, Ohio-based broadline foodservice distribution company, acquired Shaker Valley Foods, a corned beef processor headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio.

The acquisition strengthens AFD’s distribution of protein center-of-the-plate products and custom cut meats, and enhances its Greek foods program.  

“Adding Shaker Valley Foods is the perfect complement to our foodservice portfolio,” says Stan Manolakis, president and CEO, AFD. “We will now have a full-service meat division that processes portion-controlled fresh custom quality meats and added expertise as the largest corned beef processor in Ohio.
