Honoring the pioneering spirit of founder Wolfgang “Wolf” Ludwig, the center will be a destination where science, creativity, and artisan talent come together to advance how food is made safely, naturally, and to the highest quality standards. WTI, Inc. has announced the groundbreaking of its new corporate offices and Wolf’s Customer Experience Center, a state-of-the-art Research & Technology and Customer Innovation Center set to open in the Spring.

The project marks a major milestone in WTI’s continued growth, reflecting the company’s strong performance, expanding capabilities, and longstanding commitment to invest in the future. It represents the next chapter in WTI’s story – one rooted in the Ludwig family’s belief in integrity, innovation, and a relentless focus on the customer experience.

For more than four decades, the Ludwig family has built WTI around creating an exceptional experience for every customer. Anyone who has worked with the family knows the difference. Their reputation for superior service, reliability, and partnership is woven into every part of the business. Wolf’s Customer Experience Center carries that legacy forward, further strengthening WTI’s ability to support customers as the company continues to grow and expand its reach.

Honoring the pioneering spirit of founder Wolfgang “Wolf” Ludwig, the center will be a destination where science, creativity, and artisan talent come together to advance how food is made safely, naturally, and to the highest quality standards. It is designed as a space where customers, chefs, and WTI experts can test ideas, refine recipes, and explore new ingredient technologies, all with the personalized attention that has always defined the WTI experience.

“My father, Wolf, built WTI on a simple purpose: putting the customer first,” said Ralf Ludwig, owner and president of WTI. “As our company continues to grow, invest, and expand its capabilities, Wolf’s Customer Experience Center carries that purpose forward. It reflects our commitment to innovation, food safety, and the level of service and collaboration our customers know they can rely on.”

Wolf’s Customer Experience Center will bring together three integrated environments designed to foster innovation and accelerate product development:

  • The Application Lab – A fully equipped R&D lab where customers work side by side with WTI food scientists. Teams can test naturally-derived antimicrobials, antioxidants, sodium reduction systems, and phosphate alternatives directly in their own formulations, building confidence in performance early in the development process.
  • The Test Kitchen – A chef-inspired culinary space for concept development, sensory evaluation, and live demonstrations. It is where ideas move quickly from concept to commercialization and where teams can taste, refine, and perfect their products.
  • The Experience & Collaboration Hub – A modern, welcoming environment for innovation workshops, training events, demonstrations, and customer meetings. This space reflects WTI’s culture of partnership, hospitality, and hands-on problem solving, hallmarks of the Ludwig family’s reputation for an exceptional customer experience.

Together, these areas help customers shorten development timelines, reduce trial-and-error, validate ingredient performance and spark new ideas, all while experiencing the level of service and collaboration that sets WTI apart.
