January 20, 2026

Swoop announced the launch of its high-protein ice cream pints in Target stores nationwide.

Swoop delivers the creamy, rich satisfaction of classic ice cream—with 30 grams of complete whey protein per pint, clean ingredients and lower calories—for an indulgent experience that feels like you’re cheating ice cream. Designed for modern, active consumers, Swoop is sweetened with coconut nectar, made with avocado oil, and contains no refined sugar, no sugar alcohols, no stevia, no allulose, and no GMOs. All products are certified kosher.

The initial national rollout features five classic flavors: Mighty Mint Chip, Vanilla Surge, Chocolate Charge, Peanut Butter Chip Blitz, and Jumpin’ Java Chip.

“Ice cream brings people joy. With Swoop, enjoying a daily indulgence doesn’t have to mean compromising your health goals,” said Meghan Dowd, co-Founder of Swoop. “We deliver indulgence with nutrition, and we’re excited to bring Swoop to Target shoppers nationwide.”

Founded in Fairfield, Iowa by mother Debbie Dowd and siblings Meghan and Jack Dowd, Swoop is the culmination of more than 15 years of innovation in the food and beverage space. Their mission is to elevate everyday indulgence with products that taste incredible and are crafted to support the body.

With its tagline, “Indulgence That Performs,” Swoop sits at the intersection of premium clean ingredient ice cream and functional nutrition, meeting the growing consumer demand for protein-forward foods that never sacrifice flavor.

Swoop is now available in Target stores nationwide, with additional launches at Stop & Shop and The Giant Company in February.
