CTI Foods Acquires Ground Beef Processing Plant
CTI Foods is the successful bidder for
AFA Foods’ King of Prussia, Pa., ground beef processing facility.
CTI Foods Holding Co., LLC, a Wilder, Idaho-based provider of food products to national chain restaurants, is the successful bidder for AFA Foods’ King of Prussia, Pa., ground beef processing facility. The transaction received court approval and is expected to close end of July.
“As we continue to grow our company on a national basis, it was important to establish a manufacturing presence on the East Coast,” says Bobby Horowitz, chief executive officer of CTI Foods. “AFA's King of Prussia is an outstanding facility that will allow us to strengthen our already close relationships with customers and suppliers to provide a variety of high-quality food products."
