Chobani Names Charlotte, N.C. Home to NA Sales HQs
Chobani plans to open a North
American sales headquarters in Charlotte, N.C., later this summer.
Chobani, a division of Agro Farma, Norwich, N.Y., plans to open a North American sales headquarters in Charlotte, N.C. The 5,200-square-foot office, located on the 16th floor of the Charlotte Plaza Building, is scheduled to open later this summer.
"Not only is Charlotte my favorite city, it's a great fit for Chobani," says Kyle O'Brien, executive vice president of sales, Chobani Global Holdings, Inc. "It's home to talented people as well as amazing networking opportunities and cultural amenities. Plus, we're excited to get involved in the Charlotte community."
As part of its long-term growth plans in the Charlotte market, Chobani plans to expand its current sales force from 17 to approximately 60 positions, including retail analysis, trade marketing sales support and direct sales, by the end of 2013.
